"Fly-Over Country" is the Slangy name for the part of the US that most people fly over in their flights to and from the West & East Coasts.  It is what a lot of us "city folk" miss. We saw places of great scenic beauty and cities and towns that make up "middle America". As John rightly put it we were in cowboy country.

The group consisted of John & Helen Meyers, Joanna Shin and Shridhar.  We rented a Chrysler Pacifica - a real comfortable car for what was to be a 4,000 mile trip.

The trip began in Denver Colorado where the group met on July 17th. The map below shows the route. The Dairy Queen was our preferred lunch & ice cream stop!!!!!!
